New Menu, New Beginnings

Our new menu came out last week and with trepidation, we watched our new dishes being ordered and ran to the kitchen to make sure they came out perfect. First impressions last, they say!

Our new Chinese dumplings, or ‘Dim Sum’ - a Cantonese word for ‘snack,’ have been flying like hot cakes! Most restaurants serve Dim Sum in bamboo steamers and we do too, except we also offer a seared option, which actually gives it a lovely caramelized quality. You have a choice of beef or prawn, and since it’s new we’re making it fresh from start to finish for you. One of the perks of being a restaurateur (apart from watching the whales, that have graced us early with their presence to brighten up the wintry days), is that you get to taste taste taste everything! We are definitely all Dim-Summed out! :)

Our speciality is offering you a choice of seafood style (ie you have your seafood done in a variety of ways, not just having everything drenched in garlic butter), we’ve added a fantastic new option - Paul’s Ginger Chilli sauce! You gotta try the Ginger Chilli steamed prawns - they are out of this world, and when Chef feels like letting us have a taste, we never say no!

Paul was always a meat guy. So it’s no surprise that we’re slowly steering Lemon Butta Hermanus to include topnotch grills too. His Balsamic steak is yummy and we’re excited about the beef burger on the menu - with crumbled Gorgonzola and caramelized onions on top - fancy and delicious, we think.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Lemon Butta if we didn’t mention the sushi - but it amazes us how many South Africans don’t know what’s what on the Asian menu. We don’t blame you! We also can’t speak Japanese! The cool thing about Master Sushi Chef Jaylor is that he is approachable, so you can go up to the bar and ask him what things are, or better yet - ask him to make you a tasting platter so you can know what to order in future. Our favourites include the Salmon Roses, Sashimi and the berries - Rock Shrimp Tempura California Rolls - if you don’t like these, I’ll eat my oyster shell!

We’ve also included feedback forms with your bill. Please fill them out - we want to strive to be the best restaurant in South Africa! Enjoy the new menu!

Hi! Do you know if they make any plugins to protect against hackers?
I'm kinda paranoid about losing everything I've worked hard on.
    Any suggestions?

Having read this I thought it was very informative.
I appreciate you taking the time and energy to put this short article together.
I once again find myself spending a significant amount of
time both reading and leaving comments. But so what,
    it was still worth it!
